Support the Work

Good work takes materials, time, and a certain amount of paperwork.

My artistic practice brings together ceramics, material research, writing, and digital experimentation. From working with clay and cobalt to investigating the systems that connect resource extraction, technology, and everyday life, each project develops through a combination of making, research, and experimentation.

Not all of this work results in something for sale. Some of it becomes an exhibition, a publication, a digital experiment, or a question that leads somewhere unexpected.

If you'd like to help keep the work moving, you can contribute toward the materials, research, and studio costs that make it possible.

What Your Support Makes Possible

$40 — Glaze materials
Help cover the cost of glazes and materials used to test colour, surface, and the occasional unexpected chemical reaction. Research is rarely a straight line, particularly when cobalt is involved.

$50 — A Box of Clay
Support the raw material behind the work. Clay is where many of my ideas begin, and where research becomes something tangible.

$100 — Studio & Experimentation
Contribute toward the ongoing costs of making, testing, firing, and developing new work. Not every experiment succeeds, but the results usually teach me something.

Choose Your Own Amount — Research & Development
Help support the less visible work behind an artistic practice: research, writing, digital tools, project development, and the time needed to follow an idea somewhere unexpected.

These amounts are suggested contributions rather than purchases. Every contribution helps sustain the work, whether it goes toward a specific material or the broader costs of maintaining an independent artistic practice.

Thank You for Being Here

An independent artistic practice is built through many kinds of support: the people who encounter the work, share an idea, visit an exhibition, read a publication, or help make the next project possible.

If you'd like to contribute financially, thank you. Your support helps create the conditions for more work, more research, and more questions.

There is always more to investigate.
